It all starts with the human experience. This film explores the self-reflections of several Central Oregon residents, illuminating shared moments that make us pause, reflect, connect and care more for one another. Woven into the fabric of the film are carefully crafted haikus I've written, each capturing the essence of various life moments.

“Something about this film feels a bit like you’re reading pages out of a diary. It is that feeling like you are getting a bit of a secret that the rest of the world doesn’t know. That keeps the film intriguing and captivating. I laughed, I cried and I questioned my own definition of confidence. I think it takes a truly thought-provoking film to do that.”

“Confidence gives voice to a human quality that many people lack but have a desire to develop. I recommend watching Bola’s film as an opportunity to look deeper into how we see people! Her ability to approach people with a vulnerable question and put them at ease in the interview process is a compassionate way to learn about them. As I watched the film it gave me pause in wondering how I would answer the questions she posed to the interviewees."

"The film embraces the idea that confidence and fear can exist together. It doesn’t paint confidence as the absence of fear; rather, it shows how fear can be something you face head-on in your own time, at your own pace. Confidence is a reminder that we’re all on this journey together, figuring it out, and that’s where its true power lies."
